A thrown stoneware vessel with a slightly raised rim. This piece has  textured clay applied on the exterior which has been decorated with layers of coloured slips and underglaze colours. A white opaque  dolomite glaze has  been added to fill small areas of the exterior. A wash of crimson enamel has also been fired around the rim of the piece.
