A thrown narrow necked stoneware bottle. This piece has been decorated with multiple layers of stained porcelain slips and underglaze colours. These have been applied over a textured clay and  a dark iron slip. A white tin glaze has been rubbed into the textured surface along with a very thin layer of transparent glaze. This gives a slight reflective quality to the final surface once it has been fired  to 1260 degrees. The piece is signed to the base.
