A dark grey textured stoneware vessel with a low lip. Decorated with a deep Tenmoku glaze inside. The exterior has porcelain slips added as well as a white tin glaze rubbed into the hollows of the pot once it has been biscuit fired. It is signed with the maker's mark 'Philip Evans 'using an oxide on the base.
