This vessel was inspired by a visit to Italy. The stripes are derived from the exterior side walls of the Duomo at Orvieto. Textured, earthy tones reminiscent of worn plaster work in surrounding buildings wrap around the remaining part of the piece. It has an unglazed matt chocolate brown interior. Signed at base by Philip Evans.
